Western Australia
Dunsborough is a coastal town located in the South West of the state, 254 kilometres south of Perth on Geographe Bay. The town is a popular tourist destination.

Originally the location of a whaling station and a few beach shacks, the town is now a popular holiday destination. Located on the shores of Geographe Bay it is an ideal base from which to explore places of interest and enjoy local activities.

A series of bays, coves and swimming beaches stretch along the coast. Cape Naturaliste, Meelup, Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay are each accessible along a walking trail. Meelup Regional Park and the walk trails around Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse provide opportunities for wildflower viewing and whale watching. Plus, there are opportunities to dive on the wreck of HMAS Swan.

The town is serviced by public bus service route 903 which is operated by South West Coach Lines. In addition, South west coach lines and Transwa coach services run services to the town for connections to other south west towns and also to Perth.

The Dunsborough SongFest  runs in early November and is supported and organised by the Dunsborough & District Progress Association. The festival promotes community singing groups, and is strongly supported by the Dunsborough community. Visit the Dunsborough SongFest website.
